Dr. Worthington took “the path less traveled by,” as Robert Frost put it, by beginning his pursuit for a medical career at the not-so-tender age of thirty-six. Dr. Worthington began medical school with the support of his wife, April, and five children. He soon discovered that he needed additional support, so the family added one more (ch
Dr. Worthington took “the path less traveled by,” as Robert Frost put it, by beginning his pursuit for a medical career at the not-so-tender age of thirty-six. Dr. Worthington began medical school with the support of his wife, April, and five children. He soon discovered that he needed additional support, so the family added one more (child not wife).
Dr. Worthington enjoys spending time with his family, keeping up on his personal hygiene, camping, socializing, appreciating other people’s talents, reminiscing on and drawing lessons from the “glorious days of [his] youth,” reading poetry (specifically Emerson, Wordsworth, Whitman, and Frost), taking Sunday naps, and completing manly Alaskan activities such as: splitting wood, making his children split wood, stacking wood, making his children stack wood, stoking the fire, shooting large antlered mammals, fishing, fantasizing about new snow machines and four-wheelers, and pampering his piglets.
